You should, specifically, be able to explain what vapor pressure is and how it results from an equilibrium between a liquid and its vapor. You should also be able to identify when a system is under equilibrium conditions and one that is not. Additionally, interpret phase diagrams and explain that they only show what occurs under equilibrium conditions.
